DichroGlass™
Dichroic glass is a type of glass that contains multiple layers of metal oxides. These layers are designed to reflect certain wavelengths of light while allowing others to pass through. As a result, dichroic glass appears to change color when viewed from different angles. The colors produced by dichroic glass are typically very bright and vibrant, making it a popular choice for jewelry and other decorative items. In addition, dichroic glass is also used in a variety of scientific applications. For example, it is often used as a filter in optical devices such as microscopes and telescopes.
Dichroic - from the Greek word meaning bi-colored - reflects, refracts, and filters light sent from the light source, deceiving and challenging the eye. DichroGlass™ is the most visually dynamic and viewer-interactive glass material in the world. We offer: Click on a project below to view installation photos.Dichroic Glass
